- For performance metrics, we often begin with Kaplan’s balanced scorecard approach if our clients are at the required level of maturity for this framework. Otherwise, we employ our proprietary management strategies to bridge the gaps required to proceed. In the end, we deliver a core set of measurable and cross-functional metrics that are useful, effective, accurate, timely, and predictable.
- For high end analytics, we use a combination of mathematical and statistical techniques and technologies to find drivers for metrics and derive correlations among metrics that may not easily be apparent, thereby eliminating redundant metrics.
- For implementation services, we find that the traditional Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) approach provides a broad framework for the necessary controls related to development tasks.
- The SDLC, when supplemented by rapid prototype development tech-niques for specific system requirements, can enhance the development process, particularly the design phase. Where appropriate, we turn to rapid prototyping so that our clients can ‘see and react’ as opposed to designing from scratch. We have used this approach successfully for certain aspects of the original implementation of most of our business intelligence applications including performance dashboards.
